Awareness

Visuals and tools
Every year, DDR creates or updates outreach materials and offers weekly one-hour talks at its premises just steps from Tiputa Pass. We aim to share our knowledge of bottlenose dolphins and promote ethical, sustainable cetacean-watching practices.
Our materials include the Rangiroa dolphin ID gallery, our large informational panels on dolphins displayed at the Ohotu dock, and the comic book "Moana la dauphine" translated into French, English, Spanish and Tahitian.
These visuals are cofinanced in particular by the Direction de l'Environnement and the Fédération des Associations de Protection de l'Environnement de la Polynésie française.

Book a talk
Every Sunday, by reservation, the association hosts a talk titled "A Short History of Rangiroa's Bottlenose Dolphins" where we answer the many questions you may have about the dolphins. How many are there? Why are they so familiar with humans? Are there any risks linked to this familiarity? And more.
Bookings are handled online on HelloAsso.
